Jessika will be leading the girls in multiple sessions (3 for Middle School, 4 for High School) throughout the weekend. Each session will be focused on a different element of
the theme Contentment in Christ.

Sessions include a time of music worship, a message from God‘s word, and small group discussion.

In a culture so bombarded by social media and smart phones, it has become all too easy to find ourselves unsatisfied with our lives, our appearance, our possessions, our friendships.
The more we scroll through Instagram, Snapchat and twitter, the more we see what other people have and soon we find ourselves in a downward spiral of comparison that does nothing but leave us feeling empty.
Christ offers true and lasting contentment which frees us from the comparison and dissatisfaction
that our culture is drowning in.
Come learn about the importance of finding Contentment in Christ at the 2016 Girls Conference.

“Now there is great gain in godliness with contentment, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content.“

1 Timothy 6:6-8 ESV

“God helped me learn a lot more about the gospel and how /why we should share it.
I also learned the importance of the gospel.”

“I learned that I can‘t be in control of my own life because if i try to control my own life I will always fail without God.”
-10th Grade Student, Girls Conference 2015

“God showed me so many new things, and I have a new part of my testimony to share now.”

“I learned that I must stop loving earthly things and love God more.”
- 7th Grade Student, Girls Conference 2014

There will be at least one seminar held over the weekend.
Seminars are led by an adult leader who will share
a brief message on something related to the theme of the weekend, and lead the students in a craft or activity that accompanies their message.

Cabin Time
Students will spend time with their leaders discussing the messages given at the sessions, and asking any questions they may have. This is also a time to share what they have been learning or having trouble with.

Games & Crafts
At each Girls Conference we have free time in between sessions and meals to get to know one another through playing games and doing different activities. These times serve as opportunities for students to build relationships with one another and with their leaders.
We will also have a time for students to get creative and make hand made, personalized crafts to take home as a memoir from the conference.
